Kent's Repertory was the main tool for generations of classically trained homeopaths. Due to its clear structure, it became the model for the most popular modern repertories. Indeed, many homeopaths continue to use it due to its reliability. It was Kent's life work, requiring decades of painstaking effort, and he continued refining it right up to the end of his life, continually supplementing it with remedy provings and clinical experience.
The remedy names have been updated. Together with the repertory, this work includes a 40-page introduction to repertorization by Bidwell. Kent himself thought very highly of Bidwell's introduction, and wrote the preface to it.
